Markets Buzz Cryptocurrency Prices Today: Bitcoin Rises as Ethereum, Cardano, and Solana Fall.
In rupee terms, bitcoin was trading 0.04 per cent higher at Rs 34,62,615, while Ethereum was down 0.84 per cent at Rs 2,45,582. Cardano fell 5.49 per cent to Rs 92.80 and Avalanche rose 4.77 per cent to Rs 6,872.5. Polkadot fell 3.86 per cent to Rs 1,703.16 and Litecoin 2.42 per cent to Rs 10,538.65 in the last 24 hours. Tether gained 0.4 per cent to Rs 78.8. Memecoin SHIB fell 5.58 per cent, while Dogecoin was trading down 3.71 per cent at Rs 12.41. Terra (LUNA) fell 3.65 per cent to Rs 4,500. Read more here.

Decentralized finance (DeFi) platform Aave has announced the launch of Lens Protocol, a decentralized social media platform built on the Polygon blockchain. Named after Lens Kalinaris, a plant that has a symbiotic relationship with soil bacteria, the open-source "Web3, smart contract-based social graph" is based on an ecosystem of dynamic non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Users create NFT-based profiles that "contain a history of all posts, mirrors, comments and other content generated by you", while the content and following on the Platform are similarly represented by NFTs. The current minimum price – or minimum “buy now” price – on the original Boss Beauties NFT Collection 2.3 Ethereum OpenSci of 10,000 assets – is around $7,000 per asset. Crypto Central JP Morgan Estimates Bitcoin's 'Fair Value' at $38,000, 12% Down from Current Price
According to strategists at JPMorgan Chase & Co., led by Nikolaos Panigertzoglu, the “fair value” of bitcoin is about 12% below its current price based on its volatility relative to gold.
